About U'Neek & Gifted
Our Mission
U'Neek and Gifted is a non-profit organization committed to providing access to resources and education for members of Houston's disability population. Our mission is to support members of our community and their caregivers through the facilitation of enjoyable activities and community-partnered events. These efforts aim to build life skills and positively impact participants socially, emotionally and practically, contributing to their overall well-being and growth.
Our Vision
Our vision is one where the barriers to a fulfilling life are dismantled, and all members experience a sense of freedom to fully enjoy life's richness. Through dedicated efforts, we seek to create a landscape where every person, regardless of ability, is empowered to thrive, supported by a network that understands, uplifts, and embraces the inherent value and unique contributions of each individual.
Our Impact
U'Neek and Gifted has facilitated and partnered with over a dozen community partners to provide events since December 2017. We have served over 150 families within our community. Families have received valuable resources and assistance as a result of donations and community support. With the growth of community partnerships and fundraising efforts U'Neek & Gifted will continue to provide support with community initiatives and events.
